Employability programmes

For employment services, ministries, municipalities and the NGOs they fund. I design and deliver coaching programmes for long-term unemployed adults, people with low confidence and people starting over, in groups and one to one.

Who this is for

Organisations that fund or run programmes to bring adults back into work.

Employment services

Public job centres such as Užimtumo tarnyba in Lithuania or a Jobcenter in Germany. You have the participants and the mandate. I bring a programme that gets them moving.

Ministries and municipalities

Labour and social departments planning a measure for residents out of work: long-term unemployed adults, people returning after a break, newcomers to the country.

ESF+ project teams

Project managers who need a coaching component that is ready to run, described block by block and delivered on schedule.

NGOs and training providers

Organisations that already reach the people and need a trainer, a programme, or both.

What the programme covers

  1. Mindset

Beliefs about work, the comfort zone and the “too late” thoughts. Confidence comes back before the CV does.

  2. Culture and the job market

How hiring works in the country: who hires, contracts, pay, taxes and workers’ rights. Once people see the rules, the market stops feeling arbitrary.

  3. Strengths

Each participant names what they do well, in words an employer recognises.

  4. Goals

A concrete job goal with dates, and a short- and long-term plan to reach it.

  5. Job search

Where vacancies appear, how to read them, and how to use contacts and the employment service.

  6. Applications

A CV and cover letter written for the job and the country.

  7. Interviews

Practice rounds on the questions people fear, until the answers sound like them.

  8. The first weeks at work

What employers expect early on, how to ask for help, and how to stay when the first week is hard.

What I deliver

Take one part or all of them. The programme fits your target group, your timeline and your funding rules.

Programme design

Blocks, sequence, hours and materials for your target group, written so a funder or an auditor can follow it.

Delivery

I run the group sessions and the one-to-one sessions myself, in Lithuanian, English, German or Russian.

Train-the-trainer

Your own trainers learn to run the programme: the blocks, the group, and the hard moments with participants who have lost direction.

Groups and one to one

Groups for the shared topics, one-to-one sessions for each person’s goal and CV. Most programmes need both.

Online or on site

By video for participants spread across a region, or in the room in Lithuania, Germany or wherever the group meets.

Where I do this today

Since September 2022 I have worked as a career coach for International Motivation Training Deutschland (IMT), an approved provider, in programmes funded by the Jobcenter and the Arbeitsagentur (AVGS, §45 SGB III). Across Germany’s career and integration programmes I have coached more than 2,000 adults, in groups and one to one, in German and Russian.

The groups bring together people who have been out of work for a long time, people who lost direction and people starting over in a new country. In the programme I coach in, mindset comes first and the CV comes later.

When groups finish, the feedback I hear most is about individual attention, a clearer plan for the next step, and not feeling alone in it.

From programme participants

I valued the clear structure and the hands-on content. He responded to each participant individually and encouraged us to believe in our professional goals.

Valentyna A.Medical doctor, seminar participant in Germany

Thanks to the small group I received many personal recommendations. That personal approach gave me much more clarity about my next steps.

Questions from programme teams

Can you deliver as part of an ESF+ project?

Yes. Tell me the target group, the indicators you report on and the procurement rules. I fit the programme, the hours and the documentation to them.

Can our own trainers run the programme?

Yes. Train-the-trainer covers the blocks, the materials and how to run the group. I can deliver the first group together with your trainers, then hand it over.

Which languages do you deliver in?

Lithuanian, English, German and Russian.

Online or on site?

Both. Online suits participants spread across a region. On site suits groups that need to be in one room. Many programmes mix the two.

How long is a programme?

We set the length with you. A short module on applications and interviews takes a few days. A full programme, from mindset to the first weeks at work, runs over several weeks.

How much does it cost?

It depends on group size, length, language and format. After the first call you get a written proposal with the scope and the price.

Looking for coaching for yourself, not a group? Career coaching

Tell me who your participants are and what the programme has to achieve. Thirty minutes is enough to see whether I can help.
